  1. Practice, practice, practice. Can’t stress this enough and it applies to everything. The odds of discharging your firearm against a live target (ever) are closest to 0%, but if you’re serious about the commitment of owning and knowing how to operate one, practice and training are a step equally (if not more important) than your choice of purchase.
